Job description

The Dtrictis Parts Manager- Fleet Sales Manager is responsible for the development of the parts sales to the dealers and to end customers in the Belux. 
Your main tasks:
 
Prime duties

  • To look for market potential in parts sales to dealers and fleets (DAF and non-DAF) within the DAF policy.
  • To coach the dealers sales force in daily sales activities as well as in new products or product changes.
  • To advise and support dealers in pricing, sales actions, customer visits, market analysis etc. as well as support customers in their purchases (fleets and others).
  • Gather all relevant information necessary to prepare commercial offers for customers.
  • Manage existing parts agreements per customer; price changes, impact analysis on sales, margins, etc…
  • Organize transparent and effective reporting on the actions at hand both internally and externally.
  • Identify new, develop existing relationships with Fleet Operators in order to expand the Parts Market Share in line with the growth strategy of PACCAR Parts.
  • Pro-actively drive the conversion business at customers and if necessary internally to become a one-stop-shop supplier.
  • Gather all relevant information necessary to prepare commercial offers for customers.
  • Take the lead in performing account reviews and translate the outcome into Account development plans.
  • Monitor the progress and take corrective action where needed to ensure the effectiveness of the Account development plans.
  • Train and support Fleets and Dealers on the use of the various services that are part of the PACCAR PARTS FLEET SERVICES offering.
  • Drive the development of the dealers to perform on the required level as expected by our customers.
  • Contribute to the development of the Fleet Sales Strategy for PACCAR Parts. This includes the communication of all relevant market changes and trends to the relevant team members.
  • Collaborate with other PACCAR departments for tenders (Component sales, Truck Fleet Sales, Service, Finance).
  • Work closely with fleet customers and dealers to resolve issues and increase satisfaction

Your profile

For this position we are looking for a self-starting, intelligent, independent, enthusiastic and extremely motivated candidate. Someone who knows and understands processes, who can oversee the overall projects, planning and priorities and is able to make te right choices to meet the objectives that support the division’s sales and service goals.
 
Skills:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in business or technical related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience within PACCAR or other similar external business
  • Track record in commercial vehicle after-market business. Parts experience is preferred
  • Affinity with the business challenges and management of the dealer and end user
  • Natural drive to reach targets and set (personal) goals
  • You take initiative, have a high energy drive and you are prepared to go the extra mile
  • Great communication skills, ability to present to Snr. Management
  • Demonstrated abilities in leadership, problem solving, and sales
  • Strong customer service orientation (multi-tasking and handle frequently changing business priorities)
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and issue resolution skills
  • The Fleet Sales Manager reports to the Parts Country Manager
  • The Dutch and French language are a must

Department

PACCAR Parts Europe (PPE), part of the world-wide PACCAR Parts Division, is responsible to grow the sales of spare parts to customers in all DAF markets across the world, exclusively through the DAF and TRP dealer network. To satisfy our customers and dealers requirements, PACCAR Parts sells DAF and PACCAR Genuine Parts as well as the All Makes truck & trailer brand TRP utilizing 5 state of the art distribution centers and delivering unique and innovative customer and dealer solutions. PPE has employees in all major European markets and PACCAR Distributions Centers (PDC) in Eindhoven, Leyland, Madrid, Moscow and Budapest.
 
The sales subsidiary Belgium, a part of DAF Trucks North West, is based in Temse and is responsible for implementing DAF’s Marketing & Sales strategy within the Belgian and Luxemburg markets. In these markets, DAF is known for its high quality products with an excellent network and has built up a leading position across all sectors in this area setting the industry standard for performance and productivity. The Sales subsidiary ensures the growth of the network, the stability of the product line and the quality of the network. DAF Trucks North West is central to the relationship between DAF Trucks N.V. and its Dealers and how those Dealers perform.
