Job description

Your role will be to support the implementation of the new ‘state of the art’  Contract Management System.

Furthermore:

  • You will support configuration workshops with implementation partner;
  • You will work with business users to gather relevant user requirements;
  • You will prepare the migration of current contract information into the new system;
  • You will support managing the change for all business users at Purchasing DAF.

Your profile

  • Bachelor in Supply Chain Management or Supply Chain Technology;
  • We are looking of an enthusiastic intern who likes to be part of implementing a ‘state of the art’ contract management system;
  • You like to work with latest digital technology;
  • You are have analytical skills;
  • You are an easy communicator in word and writing in English;
  • You find it easy to connect with people.

Department

  • The Purchasing Department is responsible for the sourcing of all components and supporting services to design, build and sell high-end Trucks. Purchasing finds and selects suppliers, contracts them, measures performance  and manages the supplier relationships. Closely collaborating with Product development, Operations, Marketing & Sales and other supporting departments.
  • The Digital Systems team withing Purchasing is responsible for improving the Purchasing systems to support the processes and to provide relevant data for Purchasing to make the right decisions. 
  • This team consists out of 4 business analysts.

Each intern will have the opportunity to participate at the Student Event. During this event you will meet other interns and find out more about DAF/PACCAR!
