HBO Internship: Purchasing Department
Internship at an international Automotive organization where you will work within a professional procurement organization
Job description
You will be working in an exciting international purchasing organization where you will have daily interactions with suppliers.
Tasks that you can undertake include:
- Creating a contract overview that enables me to monitor Long-Term Agreement reductions and Supplier performance scores.
- Supporting Engineering Change Request and related Request for Quotations.
- Developing processes to effectively manage expectations among internal stakeholders.
- Processing CMP (Component Maintenance Program) inflow.
- Assisting with supplier event.
Your profile
We are looking for an energetic and proactive HBO intern who is eager to embrace responsibilities and thrive in the fast-paced environment of an international leader in the automotive industry.
- Currently enrolled in a HBO (University of Applied Sciences) program (for example: Commercial, Automotive, Business Administration)
- Strong proactive and analytical skills.
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
- Genuine interest in technical subjects.
Department
The work at the Department of Purchasing takes place in an international, challenging and inspiring environment. Within The Cabin & Chassis Purchasing group, components are sourced for the entire truck (engine, chassis and cabin). This position is focusing on Engine components. Correctly managing relationships with our suppliers is essential for our continuing success as a truck manufacturer. Purchasing has a strategic and crucial role in the acquisition of competitive products and services.
