HBO Internship: Test Engineer Internship
Recruiting students for an high-paced, dynamic IT Team that can contribute to DAF’s test automation journey
Job description
For our VSS Team, we are looking for an intern who will assist with various tasks. As an intern, you will be responsible for supporting our test automation team.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Support the creation, execution, and maintenance of automated software tests;
- Support in gathering requirements and define/provide test data based on internal requests;
- Take responsibility for manual and exploratory testing of our VSS systems;
- Improve our existing software test methods, tools, and processes;
- Interpret and report your test results by focusing on continuous quality improvement;
- Contribution to all agile activities eg., daily stand-up meetings, sprint plannings, etc.;
- Close collaboration with our software developers, agile coach, and product owner.
Your profile
We are looking for an enthusiastic HBO student who is interested in working in a fast-paced IT team. The number of internship days is negotiable.
Furthermore, you have:
- Understanding of software testing methodologies;
- Software testing experience with Tosca would be considered a plus;
- Knowledge of C# and .NET is a plus.
Department
The IT PD (Product Development) department provides and manages the IT applications that Product Development needs to successfully deliver their products and services. The IT Vehicle Software Systems team is one of the teams within IT PD.
This team is responsible for all the IT systems that serve the lifecycle of vehicle software, from the moment that it gets released until it ends up in the electrical control units (ECU’s) of the truck. The VSS IT landscape is highly complex and involves several technology stacks, such as Windows Server, SQL databases, Azure, REST API’s, and SOAP Web Services.
