Job description

For the externals group we are looking for an internship engineer which can start gaining experience in devolping combustion engines:

  • Developing new and/or improving of existing designs in cooperation with internal stakeholders from different departments and external suppliers;
  • Initiate and guide testing activities, review results and start-up follow-up activities if needed;
  • Analyse results and make detailed technical proposals.

Your profile

Bachelor or Master course in Mechanical, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics engineering:

  • Willing to be present in a product development environment;
  • A strong communicator with presentation skills;
  • A problem solving and result driven personality.

Department

The PACCAR Inc. Global PowerTrain Division is the center of competence for development high class products. In our state-of-art testing center we develop engine and after treatment configurations for future regulations. Our engines are best in class products in the transportation world being always driven by providing environmentally friendly solutions with best cost-effectiveness and highest reliability for our customers.

The Hardware Engineering group Externals is responsible for the hardware development of new engines and after treatment systems and maintaining the in-production products. The department is split in 4 groups; external 1 and 2, fuel,air & EGR and engine aftertreatment hardware.
