As a Junior Commodity Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting our project and procurement activities related to various parts, while also backfilling an administrative support role within the Purchasing department. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, working alongside experienced professionals.
Job duties include:
- Supplier Selection & Contract Negotiation
- Identify and select suppliers while conducting contract negotiations, focusing on price, quality, and reliability of supply
- Performance Improvement
- Utilize key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement from suppliers
- Market Research & Benchmarking
- Conduct ongoing market research to stay abreast of innovative trends in the global supplier market
- Oversee and manage the order administration process to ensure timely and accurate procurement
- Analytical Support
- Assist in analyzing purchasing tasks to optimize processes and decision-making
- Provide essential administrative support, including:
- Processing orders and supplier contract information
- Management and processing of non-disclosure agreements
- Central management of departmental information
- Facilitation of supplier events and supplier days
Jouw profiel
- Bachelor or (preferably) Master degree in commercial automotive engineering, or (technical) business studies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with negotiation abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- You have good communication skills
