As a PACCAR Parts Leadership Development Participant you will acquire hands-on experience in a variety of functions critical to the success of the business via an 18-month rotational program. Each rotation averages two to four months in duration, providing opportunities to perform particular roles and complete various projects. Participants work in multiple departments, which may include but are not limited to: sales, marketing, operations, customer service, HR and materials. Each individual schedule is customized based on the participant’s previous experience and desired areas of focus, with the requirement of having exposure to key areas of the business.

During this process, the expectation is that you will develop leadership, presentation skills, partnerships with management and a wide PPD peer network, and develop a foundation of PACCAR Parts knowledge. There is a heavy emphasis on learning the breadth of the business and the functions of each department. Participants are also expected to contribute at a high level to adding value during each rotation and take the initiative to make the most out of the program. A final presentation to the PPE Leadership team and an evaluation of each assignment are part of the program.

The overall objectives for participants in this program are:

Jouw profiel

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business or related fields, or Master pending
  • Minimum three years’ experience with PACCAR PARTS
  • Demonstrated business acumen and critical thinking skills
  • Unconditional willingness to travel for extended periods for international assignments, up to 3 months
  • Unconditional willingness to relocate globally after the program
  • Six Sigma training and/or experience is a plus
  • Exceeds/4 or Outstanding/5 scores on recent Performance Appraisals
Skills
  • Possess a high level proficiency with MS Office applications
  • Ability to gather and analyze data, identify areas of opportunity, and deliver improvements
  • Naturally curious and creative, possess the analytical skills required to do both routine and complex numerical and theoretical analysis
  • Ability to communicate well, both verbally and written with various levels of stakeholders within and outside of organization, in English and Dutch
  • Strong presentation and project management skills
  • Demonstrate adaptability, initiative and a genuine motivation to learn and grow

PACCAR Parts Europe (PPE), part of the world-wide PACCAR Parts Division, is responsible to grow the sales of spare parts to customers in all DAF markets across the world, exclusively through the DAF and TRP dealer network.
