As a Transport Planner you will be arranging & managing transports of parts on day-to-day basis to various destinations across the world and monitor and analyze relevant logistical parameters and progress of shipments: frequency, ship day, order cut-off time, incoterms, etc.
Other activities will be:
- Working with and updating available systems
- Innovating processes and analytic reports
- Building and maintaining relationship with all stakeholders
- Generating all relevant documents in compliance with legal (PACCAR) standards
- Checking carrier Invoicing
- Handling Transport complaints
Jouw profiel
In our team we are looking for a proactive and innovative colleague. You have fresh ideas about systems and automation and you are willing to teach and learn.
- You have preferably Education in Logistics (MBO-4/Bachelor) and have experience with Supply Chain processes.
- 5+ years of work experience
- Transport Knowledge (Air, Ocean and Courier)
- The ability to build strong relations with both internal and external parties
- You have experience and like to work with IT systems, like a warehouse management, transport management and track & trace, customs, etc
- Experience working with MS Office (Excel & Word), Outlook, data & reporting tools (Snowflake, Tableau)
- You are accurate and have a structured way of working
- Good communication skills in both Dutch and English (verbally and in writing)
- A third language such as Spanish is a plus
- Knowledge of Customs and Hazardous Materials
- You are available to work in 2 shifts (07:00-15:00 / 13:00-21:00)

PACCAR Parts Europe (PPE) is a PACCAR division with a dynamic and challenging environment. PPE is responsible for the sales of spare parts to over 1,000 DAF dealers, TRP stores and customers around the world. To satisfy our customers’ ‘one stop shop’ requirement, PACCAR Parts sells DAF and PACCAR branded parts for DAF truck applications and TRP branded parts for other manufacturers of trucks and trailers. PPE has employees in all major European markets and PACCAR Distributions Center (PDC) in the Netherlands, UK, Spain, Hungary, Panama and Brazil.
The Transport Team supports Parts Operations with efficient and fast transport solutions. The department consists of 12 very trained professionals. Our mission is to provide the best service to our customers through innovation, digitalization, most advanced technologies and continuous improvement.
