When I saw a job vacancy there, I knew I had to apply. DAF, the large and well-known company in Eindhoven, seemed like a fantastic place to work. Many friends were already working there, and the idea of being part of such a large work environment excited me. Working at a big company was also thrilling. At first, it took some time to getting used to, but fortunately, I was warmly welcomed in the department. My first role was in the accounts payable department, where I ensured that the invoices received by DAF were processed timely and correctly. It was interesting to see how everything came together and that I played an important role in the entire process.

After three years in this position, I had the opportunity to grow to the role of team leader in the accounts payable department, which is also my current position. This was a significant step for me. As a team leader, I have more responsibilities and am involved in various projects to improve our processes. I also mentor interns in the department every year, sharing my knowledge with them. The world of accounting is much broader than just accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger. I am eager to impart this knowledge to them.
