Lucas Noteborn

Supervisor Production Engineering Process

“It makes me proud to contribute to a tangible product.”

Lucas has held various positions throughout his career at DAF, starting as a material planner and then advancing to project leader within the central Production Engineering department. Eventually, he was promoted to the position of group supervisor of this department.

With a degree in Technical Business Administration and a master's in Innovation Management, he is always seeking new opportunities and challenges, striving to continuously improve himself.

As a project leader, Lucas has been able to improve many processes and has had extensive interaction with different people. It has always been his ambition to become a group supervisor, as he has always been drawn to the interaction with people and the contact with different departments. When the position of group supervisor in PE became available, he expressed his ambitions, applied, and ultimately was hired for the role. Although being a group supervisor presents challenges, it also gives him a lot of energy, according to Lucas.

One of his proudest achievements was establishing a successful cabin supply line for the new NGD. Together with a team of colleagues, he dedicated himself to making this project a success. Lucas appreciates the dynamics, hectic pace, and multidisciplinary nature of his work. He feels truly responsible for the entire process, from identifying problems to developing solutions and ultimately delivering a well-functioning product.

"I am proud to contribute to the production of a tangible product. I appreciate the fact that DAF is a large company where anything is possible. You have the opportunity to learn from mistakes, and there are ample possibilities for personal development and career advancement."

In conclusion, if you see opportunities, seize them with both hands, and remember, sky is the limit!
