Development of the Davie Test Bench
We have a strategy in place for constructing a Davie Test Bench, but there is significant potential to automate the process as much as possible. This project will involve a combination of both hardware and software tasks.
LIN (Local InterConnect Network) Setups on Integration HIL (Hardware in the Loop)
By the end of this year, we expect to complete the implementation of the Bus Manager. Alongside enabling CANFD on the HILS, a key enhancement will be the operational LIN buses. We can create a complete setup for the Integration HIL, including designing panels on ControlDesk, which will allow us to test LIN on the Integration HIL effectively. This setup can be developed for VECU HILs as well (we can decide later on this).
Jouw profiel
We are looking for an enthusiastic intern with the following skill set:
- Currently studying at Bachelor or Master level within an automotive or electrical/electronical area;
- Is able to communicate in English fluently;
- Strong communication skills;
- Problem-solving ability;
- Team-oriented attitude.
Afdeling
The internship is for the Verification department at PACCAR Electronics Embedded Engineering. The verification department is responsible for testing Embedded Software for Control Systems which ultimately will be integrated in the Truck. The department consists out of 28 people in Eindhoven and 10 people in India from which the majority are software testers. Next to that we have 4 HIL (Hardware in the Loop) Engineers who are responsible for maintaining a laboratory equipped with test equipment. The internship is part of the workscope for the HIL Engineers and you will be working within the HIL team.
